Backseat Sweetheart [Oct. 15th, 2007: :10:29 pm]

I've only been back from school for about ten minutes. The worst part is I had been there since 8:30am. As in this morning. As in fourteen (14) hours ago. Can you even begin to understand how exhausted I am? The best part? I'm still not done the assignment. It needs music. Or less processing of vocals to -24dB dynamically. Oh, my tummy is a rumblin'! I've not eaten since Andy and I had some (mediocre) sub-age for lunch. We won't talk about that though: Andy disappointed himself. Poor lad!

Anyway, I interviewed Steve Pratt today from CBC Radio 3 for my radio seminar. The interview went great and I felt comfortable which allowed me to ask the questions with confidence. I'm so glad I got the chance to interview him because he's the president of CBC Radio 3 and his opinion would make a huge impact on my seminar. Steve: I'm sure you've found this entry through your creepy Google alerts (legal stalking mechanism) so thank you for the interview! If I get a 90% on it, I'll give you a dollar. An e-dollar, though.

Finally, though I did not get to post the album of the week yet, I can finally announce my big news. Ready?

On Wednesday, October 31st, yours truly will be adventuring to the CBC building in scenic downtown Toronto. Would you like to know why? I bet you would like to know why! Well, my friends, at the end of my interview with Craig Norris aka Muffin, he asked me to co-host a show with him for his CBC Radio 3 web cast! Do you know what this means? I'm going to be on the CBC! I'm going to be on satellite radio! I'm going to be on the Internerd! So, here's the info you need to know, the info I know so far:

Wednesday October 31st it will be recorded.
On Thursday November 1st it will be aired.
Time TBA.. get back to me, Muffin.
Sirus channel 94.
Or online on this here technological thinger.

When I find out more info, you'll find out more info. Also, Pedro said my name wrong on this week's R3-30 Podcast. I'm slightly disappointed but I've never met a single person who knew how to say my name properly without being told.

Anyway, back to the grind. I need to add a music bed under my Humber Profile which, if I may say so, is amazing. I'm kind of a big deal.

Now THAT'S what I call "Business Casual"! [Oct. 5th, 2007: :07:31 pm]

I have a minute to write, but now I don't have much to write about. My head is in a perpetual state of headache. Last night I didn't get back from the studio until around 10:45 and I was done class at 11:40. I decided to stick around for another guest speaker, Dave Trafford from CFRB 1010, and then I was in the studio all night. Fortunately, my class starts at 12:40 on Friday's.

Tomorrow I'm running downtown to get a couple of tickets for the November 26th Stars gig at The Phoenix. Andy and I are going together. It should be nice.

My big news will be fully materialized by next week sometime. I will post this news upon receiving some sort of finalized plan. You might pee. Just a little bit. Like, in your pants I mean. I almost did but then again it directly affects me.

I haven't much else to say. I'm rather scatter brained lately because of... some... things going on. Or not going on for that matter. I feel disgusting.

I don't have time for a full post. Just know that the interview with Craig Norris went swimmingly. It lasted nearly an hour and there is some seriously great material to use. I've got big news to tell you, but not yet. Not until I know for sure and I've got more details. I've also got some advice for you: don't post things in your blogs that could be brought up during an extremely important interview. At least, if you're going to post things, don't post about how you're unprepared for said interview. Sigh...
